Profile
Suffered a terrible ACL injury in the Carolina game in Week 4 and was lost for the season with issues over whether he will ever regain his previous form or fitness. His second NFL season had been nowhere near as profitable as his first but still showed he has the talent to be a big-time back in the NFL given a good offensive line and decent passing game. Had been nnamed the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2005 and posted a 1,000-yard season in spite of missing two games through injury. Was twice named Offensive Rookie of the Month and had six 100-yard games. Was the fifth overall selection in the draft and the third running back selected. His nickname came from a sports director for an ABC affiliate in Birmingham, Ala. during a Friday night football game in 1998 saying he "ran as smooth as a Cadillac".
Selected as the 56th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
