Profile
Has now twice fought his way back from potentially career-ending knee injuries and played every game in 2009 leading the Bucs in rushing. Also showed an improved ability as a receiver and recorded his first three NFL receiving touchdowns in 2009. Had been named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2005 and posted a 1,000-yard season in spite of missing two games through injury. Was twice named Offensive Rookie of the Month and had six 100-yard games. Was the fifth overall selection in the draft and the third running back selected. His nickname came from a sports director for an ABC affiliate in Birmingham, Ala. during a Friday night football game in 1998 saying he "ran as smooth as a Cadillac".
Selected as the 56th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007.
