Profile
Relegated to the No.3 QB role during most of 2007 having spent most of his rookie season as a starter. With the signing of Brian Griese and drafting of Josh Johnson, was deemed surplus to requirements and released in June 2008. Very accurate passer over short to medium range but does not have the arm strength to throw the long ball in the NFL. The 194th overall pick of the 2006 draft, he broke Tim Couch’s Division I-A record with a career completion percentage of 68.2. Originally wore the No.7 jersey as a rookie but switched to the No.5 jersey for his second season in Tampa Bay.
