Profile
Led the Bucs to their Super Bowl victory and remained the starter for just over three years before giving way to Chris Simms and Brian Griese. Joined the Bucs in April 2001 as an unrestricted free agent after spending two seasons with the Washington Redskins. Originally drafted by the Vikings in 1992, he spent his first three seasons as a back-up before playing five games in 1995 after a successful spring with the London Monarchs. Lost his starting job to Randall Cunningham in 1998 due to injury and was then traded to the Redskins. Played in the 2003 Pro Bowl following an injury to Michael Vick, becoming only the second Buc QB to play in the game (the first being Trent Dilfer in 1997). Came to the UK with the Buccaneers for the 2011 International Series game and played QB for the Bucs UK touch football team.
