Injured early in the 1977 season and was part of the trade in 1978 that brought Wally Chambers to Tampa for Chicago, Moore going to the Bears together with a 1st round pick. Had previously played five seasons with the Oakland Raiders before coming to Tampa in the veteran allocation draft. Never actually played for the Bears but did see action in eight games for the Broncos in 1978. Caught 70 passes for 981 yards and five touchdowns as a Raider.
