Played most the 1976 expansion season and started three games at middle linebacker (Buffalo, Baltimore and Denver). Had made the team as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State but did not play more than the single season in Tampa Bay. Was injured in the game in Oakland and missed the final two games having been put on injured reserve. Never played again in the NFL after leaving Tampa Bay.
