ATLANTA FALCONS The all-time series with the Falcons is now a twice-a-year event since Atlanta moved into the NFC South Division in 2002.  The Bucs’ win  this season kept them ahead in the all-time series.  The Bucs scored a franchise record 48 points in the 1987 season opener against the Falcons.  The teams were also regular opponents in the pre-season during the 80s and 90s with the series currently standing 9-7 in favour of the Falcons.  The Bucs’ first-ever win came against Atlanta in 1976 in a game played in Jacksonville.
