Profile
Spent six full seasons and then part of a seventh as a starter on the defensive line having been a first round pick out of LSU in 1999. Missed parts of the 2002 Super Bowl season and the actual game itself with two separate injuries. Played both defensive and under tackle during his time with the Bucs but was part of the high salary cap defensive line in 2006 and hence was made available in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts that netted a 2nd round pick in return. Never posted hugh sack numbers during his time in Tampa but produced the level of performance most scouts and front office people expected of him coming out of college and then though his early NFL career. Still answers to his childhood nickname of “Booger.
Selected as the 99th Greatest player in Buccaneer history in 2007
