Obtained in an October 2010 trade with Kansas City for an undisclosed draft pick. Having been inactive for three weeks, he played in all the final eight games of the season and had sacks in the road games in San Francisco and New Orleans. Was the 67th player drafted overall in 2009. In his two seasons with the Chiefs, played in 17 games and contributed 11 tackles, 2.0 sacks and four quarterback pressures.
Did not make the 2011 team out of training camp.
