Was a gameday inactive for the first 15 games in 2006 and then placed on IR before the season finale. Did not make the 2007 team out of training camp. Had made the 2006 team out of training camp having shown real potential at the corner position. Was the 122nd overall pick of the 2006 draft - Survived a serious car accident in January 2003 when he fell asleep at the wheel and was ejected through the windshield. Suffered serious head injuries but was able to recover and played the entire season with a specially padded helmet.
