Signed from the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad to replace Brian Price who went on Injured Reserve. Played in all nine games from then on and recorded his first sack in the road win in San Francisco. Originally entered the NFL in 2010 as a fourth round selection of the Saints, taken 123rd overall. He went to training camp with New Orleans and was on the roster for the entire preseason before being waived on the final roster cutdown on September 4. The Steelers then signed Woods to their practice squad, where he remained until the Bucs called. Did not make the 2011 team out of training camp.
