Played in every game in 2003 and made one start at tailback in San Francisco. Lost his kick returning job midway through the season but did finish the year with a receiving touchdown against the Titans. Became the Bucs' all-time leader in kick return yardage during 2003. Played in 16 games in 2002 as the Bucs' primary kick returner and also made his first NFL start against the Bengals in Week 4. Played for the NFL Europe’s Scottish Claymores following the 1999 season and was named the league’s Offensive MVP after leading NFL Europe in rushing (774 yards) and combined yards from scrimmage (1,050). Set a Buc record in 2001 with an 86-yard kick-off return to open the game against the Saints, the longest return in team history and the nearest any Tampa Bay player has come to returning a kick-off for a touchdown. Switched jerseys to wear the No.27 shirt for the 2002 season. Was named to the Claymores' Hall of Fame in January 2003.
