The Bucs picked from 19th, 18th and 20th through the draft. They traded their 4th and 6th round picks to the NY Jets for an additional 3rd round selection. They traded up in the 7th round with Miami in return for a 2018 7th round selection.

1 - TE - OJ Howard - Alabama
Was having a truly exceptional receiving season as one of the best deep tight end threats in the NFL when injury ended his year after 10 games. This followed on from his excellent rookie season leading the team with six touchdowns.

2 - S - Justin Evans - Texas A&M
Started the first nine games of the season at safety before getting hurt. Came back to make one more start before being lost for the remainder of the season. Had an excellent rookie season in 2017 and tied for the team lead in interceptions.

3 - WR - Chris Godwin - Penn State
Emerged as a definite NFL starting receiver during 2018 and posted some sparkling numbers including a 100-yard, two touchdown game in the season finale againat Atlanta. Had also come on strongly during the second half of his rookie season.

3 - LB - Kendall Beckwith - LSU
Missed the entire 2018 season after an off-season car accident. Had an excellent rookie season playing as the regular strongside linebacker in the 4-3 defense but came off the field during passing downs. Also made four starts at middle linebacker when Kwon Alexander was out injured.

5 - RB - Jeremy McNichols - Boise State - Wasted pick
Did not make the team out of training camp having struggled with pro concepts as seen during the Hard Knocks series. Was picked up by the 49ers for their practice squad and was activated late in the season.

7 - DT - Stevie Tuíkolovatu - USC - Wasted pick
Was injured during training camp and missed the entire 2017 season. Struggled with injuries at the outset of training camp the following year and was released with an injury settlement before the first pre-season game.
