A season began with Greg Schiano becoming the ninth head coach in franchise history and that ended with a 7-9 record really does not tell the story of the wild roller-coaster road that went in between. A 1-3 start followed by a 5-1 run with some of the biggest offensive displays in Buc memory and serious discussion about playoff berths. A five-game losing streak saw that talk end but the finish on the high note and the best offensive ranking in 37 years gave fans real hope for the future.
