The Bucs had been off for three weeks before playing this one, a case of the bye-week and the awful events of 9/11 leading to the scheduled Week 2 match-up with the Eagles taking place at the end of the season instead.
The Vikings won it on a late 96-yard drive and TD inside the final minute which led to questions being asked of the vaunted Buccaneer defense.
