The Bucs watched the Vikings score three first quarter TDs as Randall Cunningham and Randy Moss torched the Tampa secondary, and then fought back to be on the verge of taking the game to overtime.
Trent Dilfer led a drive that started with 1:24 to play and reached the Viking 17-yard line with time for one more play. His pass to Darnell McDonald was broken up in the endzone by Robert Griffith as time expired.
