| GAME REPORTS AND COMMENTS |
Again introduced on Channel 4 by Lee Roy Selmon and Gary Imlach, this was a contest that promised either an NFC Central championship to the Packers or a guaranteed playoff berth to the Buccaneers but it was Green Bay that realised its goal in a 17-6 defensive struggle.
Tampa Bay was outgained 362-161 in total net yards, but a ball-hawking Buc defense kept the game close through the first half. Trent Dilfer suffered a badly sprained right ankle just before half-time. |
