This overtime win evened the Bucs record at 7-7 and thereby ensured there would not be a double-digit losing season in Tampa Bay for the first time in 13 years. Michael Husted tied the scores with 4:48 remaining with a 38-yard fieldgoal and then won it on overtime after Trent Dilfer had hit Horace Copeland on a big 26-yard pass play.
