Hardy Nickerson's return was not a distinguished one
The Trent Dilfer era began with his first start, merely away to the 49ers. This one was never in doubt and it was a long afternoon for me sitting at the Clearwater Bucs Bunch watching party that afternoon. At least I won the scoring sweep.

Craig Erickson threw two late scores and actually started the game at wide receiver in one of Sam Wyche's trick formations, similar to a play designed by the Bucs UK in a club competition.
