The Bucs began a four-game winning streak with a win over division rival Minnesota in their own dome. The win came after a Buc punt in overtime which Eric Guildford fumbled. Ed Brady recovered and Michael Husted kicked the game winner on the next play.
Warren Moon had earlier tied the scores inside the two minute warning with a 40-yard strike on third down to Qadry Ismail and then a two-point conversion to Cris Carter.
