Joe Montana's debut as a Chief was a memorable one
Eric Curry's NFL debut was not so memorable
Joe Montana in a Chiefs uniform instead of the 49ers didn't look right, but he still threw three touchdown passes to easily lead Kansas City past the Bucs in the 1993 season opener. The Bucs were held to just 25 yards on the ground and 157 overall and Steve DeBerg was benched for good for Craig Erickson by the second half.
