Jeff George's second half performance was decisive
The Bucs dominated the first half of this game, holding the ball for 23 minutes and outgaining the Colts 182-68 in total yardage, yet only had a seven point advantage after a deflected interception gave Indianapolis the ball at the Tampa 2-yard line. After half-time, it was all Indianapolis as Vinny was sacked four times in spite of the Buc offense amassing 28 first downs and over 350 yards of total offense.
