Vinny returned to the starting line-up after Chris Chandler was benched in midweek following a series of training field bust-ups between the two passers. Chandler was inactive for this one but he and fellow mis-content Wayne Haddix would be on their way within days. It made no difference as Vinny threw three picks, the Bucs added two fumbles, and Tampa fell to 1-8 on the season.
