Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27 Los Angeles Rams 31 Sunday 13 October 1985 at Tampa Stadium
SCORING TB 5:12-1Q Wilder 1 run (Igwebuike kick) LA 14:23-2Q Duckworth 23 pass from Brock (Lansford kick) LA 9:39-2Q Dickerson 6 run (Lansford kick) TB 7:45-2Q Igwebuike FG34 TB 6:42-2Q House 17 pass from DeBerg (Igwebuike kick) TB 0:00-2Q Igwebuike FG49 LA 4:33-3Q House 17 pass from DeBerg (Igwebuike kick) LA 4:11-3Q Ekern 33 interception return (Lansford kick) TB 13:13-4Q Carter 13 pass from DeBerg (Igwebuike kick) LA 5:58-4Q Irvin 34 interception return (Lansford kick)
Two interception TDs, the second by Leroy Irvin with 5:58 to play, sent the Bucs to their sixth straight loss of the season.   The defense, playing without Hugh Green who had been traded to Miami earlier in the week, played a good game and recovered three fumbles and had an interception of its own.   But a final DeBerg pick in the fourth quarter meant the Rams could run out the clock behind Eric Dickerson for the victory.
