The Bucs, winless and frustrated after 11 games, outplayed the Browns in all areas in the first half but went to the locker room tied at seven apiece.

QB Brian Sipe finally got the sluggish Browns, 15 point favourites, moving in the second half and found WR Paul Warfield wide open at the goal-line for a 15-yard scoring strike.

John McKay's take on the game:" We didn't play with the same enthusiasm in the second half. We played them like a bunch of old ...., well I don't want to say that."
